- 1. Estimated issue date: 29 December 2011 2. Estimated closing/response date: 30 January 2012 3. PR #: FD2030-12-70125 & 70153 4. Nomenclature/Noun: Structural Support (Aft Deck), Left and Right Hand 5. NSN: 1560-01-458-9354 and 1560-01-458-9357 6. P/N: DAA3123M469-003 and DAA3123M469-004 7. Application (Engine or Aircraft): B-2 Acft 8. Description: The Aft Decks act as Left and Right Side exhaust fairings. Approximate dimensions are 11 feet in length by 9.5 feet in width by 2 feet in height. Material is formed titanium. Approximate weight is 520 pounds. Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) is 4 each Left Hand and 4 each Right Hand, respectively for a total BEQ of 8 each shipsets. Quantity ranges are established as 3 each to 5 each for each side (Left and Right). Ship To destination is SW3211, Tinker AFB OK. Required Delivery is 30 November 2014. First Article Testing may be required. DD 254 is applicable. 9. Other: Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Northrop Grumman Corp., Palmdale CA (CAGE 1W025). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Interested persons/firms may identify their interest by submitting a capability statement, proposal or quotation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested sources may submit a capability statement, quotation or proposal that will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
