- The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 15 Contracting Office, Leavenworth, KS intends to release a requirement for medical gases for the VA Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, VA Medical Center, St. Louis MO and VA Medical Center, Marion, IL. The gases to be purchased include, but are not limited to compressed Medical Air USP, Oxygen USP, Carbon Dioxide USP, Nitrogen NF, Nitrous Oxide USP, Helium USP, Liquid Nitrogen and specialty medical gas mixtures. The contract will cover a base period with four (4) option years to be exercised at the government's discretion. Request for proposal will be available on or about 13 December 2011. This solicitation is being set-aside for small businesses. A single award contract will be made. Contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor registration (CCR) before contract award. All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ), which will be released on or about 13 December 2011.
