- Proposed solicitation, SPM7M212R0011 is for NSN 4810-01-248-8799, a Valve, Solenoid, manufactured by Marotta Controls, cage 99657, part number 283425-0002. Solicitation will be for a total base quantity of 12 each. Six each are to be shipped to New Cumberland PA 17070-5002 241, 6 each are to be shipped to Tracy CA 95304-5000. A 100% option is included in the solicitation, which may or may not be exercised. FOB is destination, inspection and acceptance is at destination. Solicitation is unrestricted. The small business size is 500 employees. Items are to be delivered in 154 days on a firm fixed price contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. This solicitation will be made available on its issue date of 12/30/11, at HTTPS://WWW.DIBBS.BSM.DLA.MIL/. PLEASE NOTE; THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE ISSUE DATE. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. A written offer is required and is to be returned to the Bid Room at Defense Supply Center Columbus, PO Box 3990, Columbus OH 43218-3990, or can be faxed to 614-692-4275. Submission of proposal by electronic commerce (e-mail) is allowed. E-mailed proposal shall not be transmitted directly to the contracting officer. Submit e-mailed proposals to the Bid and Abstract Room at:ContractorProposalDLALandandMaritime@dla.mil E-mailed proposals cannot exceed 15 MB. " NO OFFERS SHOULD BE EMAILED OR FAXED TO THE BUYER.
