- Request for Quotation This contract consists of removing the existing asphalt shingles to solid sheathing and the installation of a completely weatherproof metal roof system. The roof system shall be as herein specified. The work shall include but not be limited to: replacing plywood sheathing up to 30% of the roof area, installing underlayment felt, installing metal roof system, metal flashing, gutter and downspouts, install continue gutter screens, fascia boards, in-kind ventilation/roof jacks, and sealing all roof penetrations and all other work necessary for a complete and weather tight roof systems as specified here in and AS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS. AC units shall be mounted in-kind or with angle iron pedestal. On the front entrance porch cover, eaves and overhang framing shall be continued bracing/blocking/structural to prevent sagging.
