- This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis is as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-12-T-0001 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 13 Dec 2011. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59, and DPN 20111207. DPAS Rating is DO-S10. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 811419 and the business size standard is NTE 6.5 million. This procurement constitutes Item 0001 through 0005 for base year with four (4) one-year option periods. Required Items and Descriptions are as follows. The objective of this procurement is to provide maintenance, repair, and communication services for the Government owned AVL (Automated Vehicle Locator) system and visual audio video recording system in support of Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME) facility, Camp Foster, U.S. Marine Corps Base, Okinawa, Japan, and Combat Arms Training Center (CATC), Camp Fuji, Shizuoka, Japan. The Communication Services include GPS map hosting, data hosting and communication to the Base Station. The maintenance and repair services are required for only AVL system located in Okinawa area. The Government intends to make single award to the responsible offer which is the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal.
