- The OPS C2 Division at Electronic Systems Center (ESC/HSG), Hanscom AFB, on behalf of the AFMSTT (Air Force Modeling and Simulation Training Toolkit) Program Office (ESC/HSGG) is submitting a Request for Information (RFI) to industry for business approaches to obtain market research data to assist in the determination of what is possible for the development and support of AFMSTT. The purpose of this RFI is to assess existing capabilities and technologies parts of AFMSTT in order to minimize the cost to maintain and decrease the time to integrate, test & federate; achieving this objective will minimize the logistics associated with training, requirement generation, and exercise support. Information is also requested to help formulate the way ahead for the USAF air constructive model and how to best interface in a LiveVirtual Constructive (LVC) environment in support of the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) and USAF Training Transformation (T2) initiatives, as well as, directed Air Staff priorities. Please respond to the attached Request for Information (RFI) no later than 16:00 EST on 23 Dec 2011. Note: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THIS REQUEST IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY, AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, A SOLICITATION, A REQUEST FOR QUOTES, OR AN INDICATION THE GOVERNMENT WILL CONTRACT FOR THE ITEMS CONTAINED IN THIS RFI. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT REIMBURSE RESPONDENTS FOR ANY COST ASSOCIATED WITH SUBMISSION OF THE INFORMATION BEING REQUESTED OR REIMBURSE EXPENSES INCURRED TO INTERESTED PARTIES FOR RESPONSES TO THIS RFI.
