- Description
- DLA Troop Support in Philadelphia will be issuing a solicitation for fulll-line Fresh Fruits and Vegetable Service to USDA School customers in the State of Nebraska. This is an Indefinite Delivery Purchase, which will last until a long term contract coverning this zone can be awarded and implemented. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The anticipated date for the solicitation is 12/13/2011 with a closing date of 12/20/2011. First delivery performance will be January 23, 2012. Awardee vendor will have established a catalog by January 12, 2012. The end performance date is unknown, but it not likely to exceed 3 months past beginning date. There are presently 90 participating school customers in the Nebraska Zone. Schools may be added or removed at any time. Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. The solicitation will be found at the DLA-BSM Bid Board https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. If not already registered, prospective offerors will be required to do so prior to viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation.
