- U.S. Army Contracting Command - APG, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for 250 sets of USMC MCCUU Desert Uniforms (Blouse and Trousers). The Government anticipates awarding one (1) Firm-Fixed Price Order to Propper International, a large business located in Mayaguez, PR. This order is being awarded to supply the USMC with 250 uniforms for test and evaluation to determine possible material alternatives for the MCCUU. Propper International is the only cut and sew manufacturer that has the ability to finish (permanent press/permetherin treat) the garments in house. Start to finish manufacturing in house allows for close control of garment construction and chemical concentration levels. This level of quality control is essential for evaluation as the uniforms will act as the baseline for the overall test and evaluation. The North American Industry Classification System Identifier for this procurement is 315999; the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees.
