- Solicitation Number: Notice Type: W912ER-12-T-0007 Pre-solicitation Synopsis: This announcement is for the purpose of soliciting names of vendors interested in receiving a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Furniture Supply and Installation services for 7 buildings located at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. The magnitude of this construction project is between $3,000,000 and $6,000,000 USD. Vendors must have the capability to Direct-Ship to the project location site. Vendors should be aware that all personnel working on US Government installations must meet the security requirements for a base identification and not be on any exclusion list or have been previously denied access to USG facilities. Specific security requirements will be posted with the RFP. The period of performance for this project is two hundred and five (205) calendar days and includes issuance of notice to proceed (NTP) and prior to issuance of beneficial occupancy date (BOD). Request for Proposal (RFP) PLANS and SPECIFICATIONS: This RFP will be issued electronically. The Government will post the RFP to a file transfer protocol (FTP) site which will be password protected. Proposals will be received in hard/paper copies only. Electronic and faxed proposals will not be accepted. This solicitation will not be provided to subcontractors, suppliers, contract brokers, or vendors. Contracting Procedures: This solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP). Source selection will be made using Best Value Trade-off (BVTO) criteria. Both non-pricing (technical) and price proposals are required. The evaluation factors will be provided in the RFP. The Government may include options in the solicitation. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis. Acquisition Time Line: Tentative date of issuance of Request for Proposal (RFP) number W912ER-12-T-0007 is (on or about) 24 December 2011. Tentative Date for receipt of proposals is (on or about) 22 January 2012. The anticipate Award date is (on or about) 06 February 2012. All responsible sources shall be considered by this agency. This acquisition is not a Small Business Set Aside.
