- NASA has a requirement for online access to the MyBoeingFleet web portal in orderto have immediate, 24 hours per day access to Boeing aircraft maintenance documents,engineering drawings, spare parts online ordering system, Data and Services Catalog,notices of new service bulletins, technical media tracking, Boeing Digital ProfileDrawings, Airplane Tooling Services, Maintenance Tooling online ordering system, andother features of this specialized web portal.All documents and data must be applicableto DC-8-72 aircraft serial number 46082, and include up-to-date revisions. NASA/ARC intends to purchase the items from The Boeing Company of Seattle, Washington inaccordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), the only known responsible source for this item, andno other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company is theonly source identified that meets all of the NASA requirements.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon December 23, 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
