- 8 December 2011 There are a couple additional questions and responses pertaining to the solicitation. Question 1 Is there a requirement for the spacing between the two openings of the enclosure? i.e. does it have to be of a particular length? Response 1 There is no requirement in the PD for the distance between the two openings. The farthest distance that the lab has used is four feet. We need a distance to spot size of 20:1 or better. Question 2 If the second blackbody is a spare, are you looking for complete spare blackbody system (blackbody head and controller)? Or just a spare blackbody head? Response 2 The spare blackbody should have its own controller.
