Description
J&AExtendServices The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington intends to award a sole-source modification to extend contract Number W911S8-C-0003 for a 6 month period, from 1 January 2012-30 June 2012, to System Application & Technologies, Inc. for the Provide Operation and Maintenance of the Multi-Purpose Range Complex and Multi-Purpose Training Range (MPRC-MPTR) Yakima, Washington. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), these services are required by the agency and are available from this responsible source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the needs of the agency, or it will result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. A determination not to compete this requirement is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries should be directed no later than Wednesday, 14 December 2011, via e-mail, reference W911S8-04-C-0003, to Linda Hale, Contract Administrator, linda.a.hale@us.army.mil. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice, whether or not the Government initially determines that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the U.S. Army requirement. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by calling the Contract Administrator at (253) 982-3876.
