- Description
- The 319th Contracting Flight, Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND intends to issue a Request for Proposal for Packing Containerization and Local Drayage for direct procurement for personal property, resulting in a firm-fixed price, performance based Requirements contract. The work requirements to be performed by the contractor consist of, but are not limited to the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, and preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel. The period of performance for this contract will be a base year plus four (4) option years, with the base year covering the period of 1 April 12 to 31 March 13 at Area of Responsibility One ( Zone 41 (North Dakota Counties) Cavalier, Eddy, Foster, Grand Forks, Griggs, Nelson, Pembina, Ramsey, Steele, Traill, Walsh. ZONE 42 (Minnesota Counties)Beltrami, Clearwater, Kittson, Koochicking, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, Roseau) and Area of Responsibility Two (Zone 43 (North Dakota Counties) Barnes, Cass, Dickey, La Moure, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Stutsman. Zone 44 (Minnesota Counties) Becker, Clay, Hubbard, Mahnomen, Norman, Otter Trail, Wadena, Wilkin.). This acquisition is a 100% Set Aside for Small Business concerns under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 488991, and the small business size standard is $22.5 million. This is a commercial service and will follow procedures from FAR part 12. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 30 December 2011. All prospective offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and ORCA database or their proposal will not be considered for award. Contractors can obtain further information on the Central Contractor Registration database at web site http://www.ccr.gov/ and http://orca.bpn.gov/. This solicitation will only be available for viewing and downloading at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies or CD-ROMs will be issued.
