- Description
- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) Scott Field Office will issue a modification to contract DCA200-01-C-5014 for the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Upgrade of Communications for FE Warren AFB, WY Missile Alert Facilities. The current contract is a single award, firm fixed price contract. This modification will extend the period of performance on the current contract for one (1) year, starting on 11 Jan 12 via six (6) month base period and six (6) one (1) month option periods. The purpose of this modification is to continue to provide dedicated telecommunication support to FE Warren AFB, WY and each of their seventeen (17) Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) while the acquisition strategy is being prepared for the follow-on requirement that will be competitively awarded. Award of the follow-on requirement is scheduled for FY2013. Accordingly, the Government reserves the right to discontinue the current contract DCA200-01-C-5014 at no additional cost to the Government upon implementation of the competitive MAF procurement that is in the contract planning phase. The dedicated telecommunications support currently being provided under contract DCA200-01-C-5014 will continue at the same level of contract support. The current contract was competitively awarded to SuperTel Network, Inc. The dedicated telecommunication support shall be capable of accurately transmitting and receiving voice, formatted text, formatted binary, unformatted binary, and graphics data files. Data shall be received and transmitted, and contractor provided error detection and correction schemes shall ensure accurate and complete transmissions off all voice and data traffic. The Government shall use 100% of the service 100% of the time. Any interested party may submit a proposal for this effort. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.203(a)(1), the closing date for proposals is established as 1600 hours, Central Daylight Savings Time, 14 December 2011.
