- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Local Telecommunication Services The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Western Regional Office located in Stockton, California, intends to award a sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to AT&T 795 Folsom, Rm #504 San Francisco, CA 94107 for the provision of telephone services for the Bureau of Prisons Western Regional Office. Services will include local and long distance telecommunication services for the Western Regional Office. The period of performance for procurement will be January 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012. The NAICS Code is 517919. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Any firms who believes it can meet the requirements may provide written notification to the contracting officer by 2:00 pm Pacific Time, December 20, 2011. Supporting evidence must be furnish in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to supply services that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner and show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information. Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone and Fax Number, Email Address, Business Size and DUNS number. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to AT&T. Responses may be e-mailed to mxsaenz@bop.gov by the deadline stated above. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered. Faith-Based and Community based organizations can submit written notification to the contracting for which they are eligible.
