- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Solid Waste Removal for the Metropolitan Correctional Center located in San Diego, California. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed prices. The contract shall consist of a base year from the Effective Date of Award through September 30, 2012 and four 12-month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated contract requirement for the base year is to provide one, 3 cubic yard container and daily pulls for five, 3 cubic yard containers. The solicitation will be available on or about December 15, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 16, 2011. The solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 562111 with a size standard of $12.5 million. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible companies may submit a quote.
