- Power Point Presentation of Redesign of ESRD Program for the purpose of introducing CMS’ intention to solicit proposals for the upcoming ESRD Network contracts, provide an overview of CMS’ priorities, strategic aims and the future of the ESRD Network Program, initiate high-level discussions on the future of the ESRD Network Program and provide the next steps. CMS is releasing a PowerPoint Presentation on the redesign of the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Program. This Powerpoint presentation will be presented at the 2011Quality Net Conference on December 15, 2011 from 3:15 to 4:00pm at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards, 110 S Eutaw Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. The PowerPoint presentation may be accessed on or after December 16, 2011, through the following website: https://www.cms.gov/ESRDNetworkOrganizations/ Please be advised that this notice is published for informational purposes only and to request comment/feedback on the ESRD draft SOW concepts. The government is not liable for any costs associated with the submission of comments or feedback related to this notice. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. The purpose of this notice is to: (1) post the high level concepts for the ESRD Network Statement of Work (SOW); (2) solicit industry comments on the draft SOW concepts; and (3) alert interested parties of the need to satisfactorily mitigate actual or perceived Organizational Conflicts of Interest. Interested parties are informed that the attached ESRD Network concepts are in DRAFT FORMAT ONLY (subject to further revision) and do not represent a final statement of requirements. At this time, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is requesting industry comment only on the ESRD draft SOW concepts. Comments must be submitted electronically utilizing the format in Attachment A entitled, "Comment Format". The email address for submission of industry comments is: OCSQBox@cms.hhs.gov. Comments must be submitted no later than 5 pm (local prevailing time--Baltimore, MD) on December 30, 2011. Industry comments will be reviewed by CMS for consideration in finalization of the DRAFT SOW. CMS will not address individual questions to the Draft SOW.
