Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EA133M-12-RQ-0183. This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a RFQ and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-54. The RFQ is set aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 332618, which has a size standard of 500 employees. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), NOAA Ship Pisces, Pascagoula, MS requires wire rope with an required deliver date of March 1, 2012. Item 0001, 19,680 Feet (6,000 meters), 3/4" (19 mm) diameter, 6X37, wire core, RIGHT HAND regular lay, galvanized, EIPS drawn, domestic (US) products Item 0002, 19,680 Feet (6,000 meters), 3/4" (19 mm) diameter, 6X37, wire core, LEFT HAND regular lay, galvanized, EIPS drawn, domestic (US) products Item 0003, Estimated shipping The required delivery date is March 1, 2012. All quotes shall be FOB Origin to 151 Watts Avenue, Pascagoula, MA 39567. Vendor must submit specifications of the proposed wire rope. Vendors shall include a completed copy of its representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (NOV 2011), with its quote. [An offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (o) of this provision.] Vendors shall refer to www.acquisition.gov to obtain a copy of FAR provision 52.212-3. EST on December 15, 2011; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on meeting the required delivery date, meeting the specifications, and price. The anticipated award date is on or about December 19, 2011.
