- Description: Emergency Elevator Repair This is a competitive small business set-aside procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors, and the Small Business Size Standard is $14.0M. Work consists of performing emergency repairs to the Air Traffic Control Tower elevator at Whiteman AFB, MO. This will be a firm fixed price construction contract using the Davis Bacon Act. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 16 December 2011 on the FedBizOpps posting system at https://www.fbo.gov/. Bid proposals are anticipated to be due Friday, 30 December 2011. Additionally, a site-visit is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, 20 December 2011. The final date and time will be released with the solicitation. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Note: Although we are providing a link for the Interested Vendors List, the listing will not be used to notify vendors of any amendments to the solicitation. It is your responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for changes to the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any contract.
