Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance the FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: Quotations are being requested. And a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clause are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DFARS 20100908. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business and the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement 423430. This acquisition is being procured utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Only qualified offerors may submit quotes. FOB Destination shall be Newport News, Va 23607 The USN NSN NAVSEA SUPSHIP Newport News requires the following items, Exact Match for the following item: 1 “ SEE ATTACHED SPECIFICATIONS The Government will award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the lowest price. Offeror shall provide appropriate product information that clearly documents that the offered products are those listed above. Section 508 Requirements for accessibility based on Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d) are determined to be relevant for the following program need: "MOBILE ARMOR RENEWAL " Section 508 service requirements are specific accessibility concerns that may be applied to acquisitions of Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) services based on Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d). These requirements apply to acquired deliverables of EIT-related services which do not meet the definition of an EIT product. Section 508 service requirements are accessibility-related issues that ultimately affect overall program compliance with Section 508 regulations. Such issues should be considered during solicitation to identify Section 508 related responsibilities the agency may incur based on the intended use of the expected deliverable. Section 508 service requirements result in additional solicitation requirements crafted to help make sure that agency programs can meet responsibilities under Section 508 while using the acquisition deliverables New equipment Only; No remanufactured or "gray market" items. Bid must be good for 30 calendar days after close of buy. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.) which means that the seller must delivery the good on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. Offeror must be resisted in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before a ward can be made to them. If the offeror is not register in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Delivery must be made within 10 days after receipt of order (AOR). The selected offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - commercial items, applies to this acquisition; FAR 52.21203. Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items - the selected offeror must submit a completed copy of the listed representations and certification; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial items; FAR 52-212-5, Contract terms and conditions. Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial items, paragraph (a) and the following clauses in paragraph (b); 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.2222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-33.
