Description
The saliant characteristics are further described/clarified below: Salient Characteristics Trailer 1. Tri-axle ball-hitch trailer: commercial grade construction with steel frame and structure, one-piece roof with drip rails,.030" aluminum siding pre-finished white over 1/4" luan plywood, and 3/4" exterior grade plywood floor. Heavy duty tow-bar and hitch (2-5/6" ball required). 4-wheel electric brakes. 2. GVWR: 18,000 lbs. 3. Tires: LT225/75R16E BSW 4. Dimensions: 28'L x 7.5'W x 7.5'H interior; 32' overall length including tongue. 5. Doors and Windows: side and rear entry doors with fixed, tinted windows, heavy duty rear step bumper, and side fold-up stairs. 2 @ 30"W X 22"H dual-pane tinted sliding windows with screens in lab area. Doors shall be at a minimum 32" wide, to include the Sample Prep Area and Analytical/Laboratory Area separation door. Bubble Seal around Doors, and sweep out threshold. 6. Stabilization jacks: front and rear, 12VDC Basic Modifications 1. Interior finish package: including seamless vinyl floor with cove base installation, marlite (or equal) covered wall and ceiling panels, 2.5" rigid foam insulation (R-19) in walls and ceiling. Shall include instrument bench with hold-down system, electrical wireway, lab gas distrobution manifolds and GC vent. 2. Bulkhead: 1 @ 3" thick bulkhead dividing the working area into 2 compartments (Sample Prep Area and Analytical/Laboratory Area). Includes a door operable from either area, with window. 3. Custom Cabinetry: construction is 1/2" plywood with laminate on all surfaces with a countertop Construction of 3/4" plywood with Chem-surf laminate and 4" backsplash, and positive latching hardware on all drawers and doors. Cabinets shall be at a standard cabinet height of 36" with no less than Total counterspace shall be equal to or more than 1125 square feet and includes in the sample Prep Area 112 square feet with the wet chemistry bench area and sink and 224 square feet includes a biosafety cabinet class II type B2. The Analytical/Laboratory area includes a 434 square feet of counterspace and an instrument bench of 284 square feet, plus a desk area at 29" or 30" in height and a counterspace of 112 square feet. 4. Instrument benches: (Analytical/Laboratory Area). Construction is 3/4" plywood countertop with Chem-surf laminate and 4" backsplash. Aircraft grade track and hold-down system for instruments. Shall include instrument bench with hold-down system, electrical wireway, lab gas distrobution manifolds and GC vent. 5. Wet chemistry sink/area: (Sample Prep Area). 28"0 stainless steel surface with backsplash, sink and faucet, eye-wash, hand held drench shower, hand hot water. 6. Data system desk: (Analytical/Laboratory Area).- counterspace shall be equal to or more than 112 cubic feet and be 29" or 30" in height and be constructed in the same manner as all other cabinetry. 7. Water system: demand operated pump (12 VDC operation), fresh water supply and grey water polypropylene tanks under bench (25 gallons each), and instant-hot water heater. City water supply via garden-hose connection. External tank fill connection. 8. Air conditioners/heaters: 3@ roof-mounted 13,500/5,600 BTU/hr. units provide 100% re-circulated cooling/heating, 120 VAC operation. 9. LAMS IITM fresh air/pressurization system: shall be exact product or descibe in sufficient detail that it meets the following requirements as an or equal - 2 @ independent systems, one in the Sample Prep Area and one in the Analytical/Laboratory Area, to create negative or positive pressurization with HEPA filtration on intake and exhaust. Fresh air inlet with high efficiency particulate air HEPA filter. Control panel in Analytical compartment includes differential pressure gauges to measure pressure vs. exterior and vs. the two areas. Blowers operate on 120 VAC. Electrical System 1. Generator: 1 @ 20 kW diesel-powered (120/240 VAC, 60Hz). Local panel for monitoring operation in the generator compartment. Fuel supplied from 50 gallon fuel tank. 2. Shorepower connection: 120/240 VAC, 1-phase, 100 amp pin and sleeve input. Includes 1 @ 25' power cord. 3. Control panel: contains voltage, current and frequency meters, rotary switch to select generator or shorepower input, remote generator start/stop, hour meter, fuel level gage, battery charger status panel and various 12 VDC loads' master switches and fuses. 4. Distribution circuits: various single phase circuits to serve HVACs, fume hoods, lights, etc. as required. Wiring and outlets located in wireways for counterspace to allow easy modifications in future. GFCI breakers or outlets used for circuits or outlets as required by the NEC. 5. Interior lighting: 2-tube, 48" fluorescent fixtures, 120 VAC, located on 6' spacing above each bench and desk. 6. Exterior lighting: flush-mounted flood lights, 12 VDC, on each side and at rear of lab. 7. Emergency/maintenance lighting: 2-tube, 12" fluorescent fixtures, 12 VDC, located inside above each entry door and in generator compartment. Courtesy lights with door-operated switches in all exterior compartments. 8. Auxiliary batteries: 2@ 100 A.H. sealed deep-cycle batteries to start the generator, power emergency lights, water pump and other DC loads. 9. Automatic battery charger: 40 amp 120 VAG operation charges auxiliary batteries independently. Located in shorepower compartment with remote indicator panel on control panel. 10. Data port: to connect to local data service: 1 @ RJ45 data jack receptacle mounted in waterproof box. Cables routed to the Analytical/Laboratory area desk. Data outlets at each workstation also routed to desk. Lab Support Equipment 1. Bio Safety Cabinet: 24" stainless steel, Class II, Type 82 with HEPA-filtered exhaust to outside via remote blower. 2. Refrigerators: 2@ 5.4 c.f. under-counter units, 12 VDC/120 VAC operation. 3. Gas cylinder rack and distribution manifold: slide-out rack for 3 @ 7" or 2 @ 9" cylinders. Manifold includes 4@ 1/4" chemically-cleaned, stainless steel tubing with 3 valves per line for connecting to instruments, located on wall above instrument benches. 4. Flammable-rated solvent cabinet: 4 gallon steel cabinet (yellow) with automatic closing door. Located in sample prep area. 5. GC vents: 3 @ 4" diameter custom vents with diverter for inside/outside discharge.Optional exhaust fan model accelerates GC oven cooling. 6. Safety package: ABC type fire extinguishers, CO detector, first aid kit, faucet mounted eye-wash and hand-held drench shower at sink.
