- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), National Centers for Animal Health (NCAH), intends to issue a sole source purchase order award to PAA Laboratories, located in Dartmouth, MA for Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS), 100ml vials to maintain sell cultures in support of testing requirements. The proposed contract action is to supply the NCAH with this product to support testing associated with infectious viral agents. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). Numbered note 22 applies. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. This notice is for informational purposes only. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. The NAICS code is 325414. The small business size standard is 500 employees, or less.
