- Wage Determination WD 77-1427 (Rev 35) Statement Of Work Solicitation Terms and Conditions Solicitation AG-7442-S-12-0002 To manage the overall vegetation (including, brush/slash, dead trees and understory as necessary) of designated areas in the more wooded sections of Training Areas (TA)s 41, 43, 44 and 45 on Fort Hood, TX to improve heavy, full spectrum, maneuver training accessibility and laser training capability across the landscape. Work consists of approximately 545 acres. The majority of the work (non-Black Capped Vireo Habitat) shall consist of removing NRCS selected hardwoods, and dead trees, all mesquite, all ashe juniper, and selected trees/brush 5 inches and less in diameter at breast height. Work within the Black Capped Vireo Habitat will be accomplished by removal of all mesquite and ashe juniper, and removal of NRCS selected dead woody species, hardwood trees over 10 ft in height, and brush slash. Please refer to the Statement Of Work for detail of acceptable work methods, and disposal of slash. In order to ensure all offerors have complete understanding of the requirement, there will be a site visit 14 December 2011 from 0900 - 1200 at the NRCS Fort Hood Project Office, 105 Memorial Drive, Gatesville, TX. Site visit is highly recommended, but not required to submit an offer.
