- Womack Army Medical Center Vascular Surgery Service is seeking to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for endovascular devices (see listing below), to include but not limited to balloons, stents, catheters, atherectomy devices and embolic protection devices from multiple companies. The purpose of these BPAs (with their associated consignment agreements) will allow the manufacturers to have a limited stock of devices present in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Supply for use on patients without the need to purchase large quantities of the devices. The Vascular Surgery Service seeks BPAs with consignment agreements with the following companies, each with devices that are unique in their properties: ev3, Gore Medical and Abbott Laboratories. The intent is to have a comprehensive supply of endovascular devices that are available for use at the discretion of the operating surgeon based on the patient's unique procedural needs. As the products are utilized, the items used will be recorded and purchased from the manufacturer using the Vascular Surgery Service's credit card account. The individual company representatives will be responsible for delivering the initial stock of products and devices, conducting regular inventory of product, rotating stock and working with the Vascular Surgery Service nurse for all purchasing issues. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses via email ONLY to George W.
