- The National Park Service is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1), Only Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements) with Columbine Telecom Company dba Fairpoint Communications, Westfield, NY. NAICS 238210. This requirement is to install new Fiber Optic Lines between Headquarters and the Visitor Center, Great Sand Dunes National Park, CO. Fairpoint Communications will own and be responsible for all future service and maintenance for equipment and lines installed.All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing via mail to Colina Rivetts, National Park Service, P.O. Box 25287, MS-WCP, Denver C0 80225 or by email to colina_rivetts@nps.gov. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that an alternate source has the authority and capabiilty to perform the work at this location.
