- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR POWERINVERTERS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This noticeserves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will notbe issued.The purpose of this amendment is to post Questions and Answers.Question No. 1:As a small company, are we allowed to bid on this solicitation?Answer to Question No. 1:Yes, you are allowed to bid on this solicitation.Question No. 2:Is there a way we can get the specs on Part# XPK-1-I-6-1-97, in order to identify whatneeds to be manufactured for this solicitation?Answer to Question No. 2:The specifications for this part can be found in Amendment 1 of thisSynopsis/Solicitation.The link to this amendment is:http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/synopsis.cgi?acqid=149299 Question No. 3:What is the delivery schedule for the 50 units?Answer to Question No. 3:All items/units must be received no later than February 29, 2012.Question No. 4:Are we allowed to include Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) cost in our quote?Answer to Question No. 4:Yes, these costs must be included in your quote.Question No. 5:What is the quantity of power inverters?Answer to Question No. 5:The total quantity of power inverters is fifty (50).The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on November 22, 2011.
