- The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for lodging and conference support services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned for this potential procurement is 721110, Hotels (except casino hotels) and motels. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This is not a request for an Event Planner. The DSCA anticipates a conference support requirement in support of the Afghanistan FMR/PMR Conference. The conference period of performance is tentatively scheduled for 13-23 March 2012 in the Washington DC metropolitan area preferably near the Crystal City and Pentagon City and within walking distance to the Pentagon. The requirement includes sleeping rooms, large conference room and breakout rooms, AV equipment for up to 9 breakout rooms and AM & PM refreshment breaks. Estimated room requirements: March 13 - 30 rooms March 14-15 - 50 rooms each day March 16-17 - 40 rooms each day March 18-22 - 80 rooms each day March 23- 10 rooms Rooms totaling 620 room nights. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by December 13, 2011 and NLT 2:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
