- The USDA Forest Service on the Francis-Marion & Sumter National Forests is performing market research to locate contractors that have experience in performing plant surveys on the National Forests in South Carolina. This is not a request for proposal only a request for information. Interested parties should submit a resume on their past performance and expoerience in the following types of work The Contractor must demonstrated experience in plant identification, field surveys, and monitoring of flora in the Carolinas or Georgia, including experience with rare, native, invasive plants, and native plant community identification and and description. Experience in mapping with a global positioning unit and use and intrepertation of digital information and geographic information Systems (GIS). The contractor must demonstrate experieence in the writing of an electronic submission of technical reports.
