- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO CRYSTAL N. COOPER, Contracting Officer, CCAM-AL-B, fax number (256) 955-9237. No telephone request will be accepted. NOUN: Rod End Assy; PRON: AX2F5030AX; NSN: 1615-01-257-5794, PN: 7-311511137-33; Quantity: Min 300 / Max 1000 each, three year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity; applicable to the AH-64 Airframe. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company, CAGE CODE 8V613, Jaco Engineering CAGE CODE 1H427 and Timken Aerospace Transmissions LLC, CAGE CODE 15152 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470.
