- If you are viewing this announcement from another website, please be sure to view the original announcement at: http://faaco.faa.gov This acquisition is 100% set-aside for competition for Small Businesses under NAICS codes, 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, 238910 Site Preparation Contractors, or 238220 Plumbing and Heating Contractors.Estimated Range of Construction is $100,000 to $500,000 Summary of work:The purpose of this contract is to provide a Design/Built new Wastewater Treatment System with Lift Station and Raised Leach Field to replace the existing systems. Under this contract, the contractor shall provide all engineering services required to design a new septic tank & leach field system, and provide all labor, material, and other services needed to construct the new septic tank system at the Northeast corner and adjacent to the existing systems at the FAA Honolulu Control Facility, Honolulu International Airport, Honolulu, HI. A single optional site visit will be held on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 10:00 am. Offerors must contact Mr. Ira Farnoush to pre-register for the site visit. Visitors must provide name and point of contact information, driver's license number and state of issuance for all participants at least 24 hours prior to their visit. Information may be sent by email to ira.farnoush@faa.gov or by telephone at 310-880-0462. Offers are due by close of business (4pm PST, local time) on Tuesday January 3, 2012. see Section "L" of the attached Request for Offers package for complete proposal submission information. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
