- Description
- This acquisition is to provide engineering services for the development and limited integration of the DB-110 for eight Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) F-15S aircraft. The Period of Performance will be for eight months and does not include any options. The solicitation will be issued sole source to The Boeing Company, 6200 J S MCDONNELL BLVD, SAINT LOUIS, MO, 63134-1939, CAGE: 0PXV4, per Authority: 10USC 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies or services required are available from only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This effort is anticipated to be an undefinitized contract action; therefore, the response time is critical to timely contract award. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements is cited in each individual solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
