- Description
- The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has a requirement for WestlawNext Online Legal Research Tools / Services by West Publishing Corporation. OPM intends to issue a non-competitive award that will result in a purchase order to West Publishing Corporation, for a period of one year. This requirement is conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items. The authority for this award is FAR 13.106(b), soliciting from a single source; Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The required services, listed below, are very specific and are not offered by other vendors. Submissions after that date will not be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, any requests for the solicitation will not be considered. Interested parties wishing to submit their questions, interest, and capabilities must do so in writing via e-mail. Oral and facsimile requests for information will not be considered. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required prior to execution of award. A detailed capability statement must be submitted to Sherón Spann at sheron.spann@opm.gov and must include "WestlawNext Services - AT08916" in the subject line of the e-mail.
