- Yellowstone National Park is seeking interested sources for a requirement entitled: Yellowstone National Park (YNP) Armored Car Service. The requirement consists of providing secure armored car services (including armed guards) for the pickup and delivery of cash and other monetary documents at various locations within Yellowstone National Park and transporting deposits to a financial institution in Bozeman, Montana. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 561613 (Armored Car Services) with an associated small business size standard of $12.5 million dollars. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify concerns with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement. Please see the summary scope of work below. The delivery/pickup dates and times and a complete Performance Work Statement (PWS) or Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation upon issuance. This service will be solicited as a base period and four (4) option periods. Please provide all of the following: 1)A capability statement expressing interest in this requirement, describing your company and its employee's capability to complete this work. Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel. 2)A statement or list of your firm's current or past technical experience similar to or the same as the summary scope of work for this requirement. Include a brief description of the scope and schedule for each similar requirement. 3)A statement or list of your firm's current or past performance similar to or the same as the summary scope of work. Include a point of contact name, phone number and email address. 4)A statement of your firm's business size and type (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), woman-owned, Small Business, etc) utilizing the NAICS code and size standard noted above. Submit this information to Mr. Aragon Liebzeit, Contract Specialist, via email to Aragon_Liebzeit@NPS.Gov. Your response to this notice must be received, in writing, on or before 3:00PM (local time) on December 22, 2011. Summary Scope of Work Provide armored car services from approximately May thru October at the locations noted below within Yellowstone National Park covering 3 states (Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming). The number of service days per week required will vary per location and will change seasonally based on YNP operations. North EntranceWest EntranceOld Faithful Visitor CenterNorrisGrant Village Visitor CenterBridge Bay Ranger Station The monetary documents picked up at the above mentioned locations will be transported to the Administration Building at Mammoth Hot Springs in YNP. Monies picked up from Mammoth will be transported to Bozeman, MT.
