- The work includes all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, tools, supplies, and materials necessary to migrate a Symantec Netbackup 6.5 standalone Master Catalog to the NetBackup 7.1 virtual Master, including renaming the NetBackup Master Server. Offerors must be Symantec Netbackup Certified and have the ability to use the appropriate Symantec proprietary delivery tools. The State Office needs to replace their current Symantec Netbackup Linux server with a new virtualized (VMWare) Windows 2008 server. The master catalog on the Linux server must migrate to the new server intact but with an update to the server hostname. The BLM System Administrator should be able to take an existing backup tape and restore data from this tape on the new server, and also be able to review items in the catalog from the new server. The project site is located at the Bureau of Land Management, Oregon State Office, 333 SW 1st Avenue, Portland, OR 97204. The project price range is less than $25,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project will be 541512. The required start work date is January 10, 2012. The estimated performance time is 7 calendar days. Bonds are not required. The full solicitation will be posted electronically at WWW.FEDCONNECT.NET on or about December 9, 2011. Paper copies are no longer available. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
