- Description
- Construction Drawings A. This is a sources sought announcement to identify 8(a) construction firms for heavy construction and construction support activities for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at the Permanent High Explosives Test Site (PHETS), White Sands Missile Range, NM and DTRA Test sites at Kirtland AFB, NM. A multiple 8(a) set-aside award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract is contemplated. Task Orders will be issued on a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and/or Time-and-Materials (T&M) basis. A five (5) year performance period is anticipated with a projected contract ceiling value of $50 million. Project Description. This construction project will primarily consist of building heavy reinforced concrete slabs, fabricating and erecting reference panels, trench excavation in type II soil to include backfill and compaction, and other general construction support activities. B. STATEMENT OF CAPABILITY (SOC). Based on the attached drawings, 8(a) construction firms are invited to submit a SOC demonstrating their capability to perform similar and relevant heavy construction efforts. SOC are limited to a total of five (5) pages. Submit SOC electronically to rudy.chave@dtra.mil no later than 4:00 P.M., Mountain Time on 23 Dec 2011. C. ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a Government contract. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov/. This sources sought is for planning purposes and does not constitute an invitation for bids or a request for proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for the information provided.
