- VARIOUS NAVAL ACTIVITIES, OCALA, FL THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, intends to award a follow-on contract to N62467-68-C-0273 on a single source basis to Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc. under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and 40 U.S.C. 113(e)(3) which authorizes the Department of Defense to acquire utility services for military facilities. This contract is for electric commodity services in support of the various Naval Activities located in Ocala, FL. Contractor shall furnish, and the Government shall purchase and receive electricity as requested by the Government from the contractor. Interested electric providers may identify their interest and ability to meet the requirements stated herein and may submit their authority to provide service in the form of a tariff or ordinance. Submission must include providers valid Cage Code. FAR 52.214-34 applies. The associated NAICS code with this procurement is 221121 “ Electric Bulk Power Transmission and Control. A firm is small if, including its affiliates, it is primarily engaged in the generation, transmission, and/or distribution of electric energy for sale and its total electric output for the preceding fiscal year did not exceed 4 million megawatt hours. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Responses to this posting must be submitted to Olisha Costa in PDF format no later than 22 December 2011.
