This item is being procured under "other than full and open competition procedures" under 10 USC 1304(c)(1), Unrestricted Procurement. This item is commercial and has critical item application. The Trade Agreement Act applies. This solicitation is for a proposed Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) with base year of 12 months and 1 option year. The guaranteed minimum is 552 EA, base year only. Maximum annual contract quantity: 8,832 EA. Minimum delivery order quantity: 552 EA; maximum delivery order quantity: 2,208 EA, which is also the estimated annual demand. The requested term is FOB destination, Inspection and Acceptance at destination. Requested delivery for this IDPO is 83 days ARO for all delivery orders. IDPO will cover DLA-Direct delivery orders only; stock delivery locations will be any facility in the Continental United States as cited on each delivery order per the DSCR Form P-41. The solicitation will be available on or about December 6, 2011, and will close on or about January 6, 2012. The final contract award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
