Description
The Fort Knox Mission and Installation Contracting Command Mission Contracting Office (MICC MCO)-Fort Knox will host an Industry Day on 1 February 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Fort Knox local time). The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide prospective contractors with information and an overview of upcoming Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOCs) (i.e. multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ contracts)) which will be used to procure Meals, Lodging, and Transportation services at various Military Entrance Process Stations (MEPS) located throughout the United States, including Puerto Rico and Alaska. The objective of the Industry Day is to not only provide information, but to solicit and receive feedback, comments, and recommendations from prospective contractors. Interested parties in attendance will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide recommendations to the MICC MCO as it prepares for a Request for Proposal (RFP). At this time, it is anticipated the event will be held at Fort Knox, KY; an exact address will be provided to each attendee at a later date. Interested parties are encouraged to submit questions in advance. Questions must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. (Fort Knox local time) on 13 January 2012 and may be submitted by fax to Terri Corbett, 502-624-7165 or by email to terri.corbett@us.army.mil. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and/or RFP may be issued prior to the date on which questions are due. Industry participation is on a first come basis and is limited to no more than two individuals per company. Industry representatives interested in attending the event shall pre-register no later than 4:00 p.m. (Fort Knox local time) on 14 December 2011 by submission of a fax to 502-624-7165, Attn: Terri Corbett, or by email to terri.corbett@us.army.mil. Registration shall include the full name of each individual attending, and a company point of contact, phone number, fax number, and email address. Late registrations may not be accepted. Attendees must enter Fort Knox through Chaffee Gate and are cautioned to allow time to process through Visitor Control. All individuals must have a valid government issued photo identification and the driver of the vehicle must present a valid driver's license, current registration, and proof of vehicle insurance. Failure to attend Industry Day will not preclude a contractor from submitting a proposal.
