Description
The Pacific Regional Contracting Office (PRCO) at TAMC intends to award a firm-fixed price, personal service contract for Physical Therapist services at USAHC-Schofield Barracks, Physical Therapy Clinic. This requirement is for a period of performance from 23 January 2012 through 22 July 2012 (Base and two (2) one-year option periods). Required experience of the Physical Therapist includes but is not limited to: (1) A Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited post-baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy. (2) Must possess a current and unrestricted State license for Physical Therapy Board Certification as a Specialist in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine from the American Physical Therapy Association. (3) Board Certification as a Specialist in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine from the American Physical Therapy Association is desirable. (4) Advanced training and/or education in orthopedics and manual therapy is desirable. (5) Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic and/or manual physical therapy experience in providing independent evaluation of patients and exercising sound clinical reasoning to establish individual, specialized, physical therapy intervention, goals, and objectives; and in routinely providing re-evaluation and modification of physical therapy intervention according to the patient's response and according to changes in the patient's functional status. (6) Minimum of 1 year of inpatient physical therapy experience in providing independent evaluation of independent evaluation of patients and exercising sound clinical reasoning to establish individual, specialized, physical therapy intervention, goals, and objectives; and in routinely providing re-evaluation and modification of physical therapy intervention according to the patient's response and according to changes in the patient's functional status. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 621340 and the annual size standard is $7.0M. This solicitation package will be available on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) on and about 01 December 2011. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
