- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Quantico, VA intends to issue request for quote number M67854-12-T-3004 and make award of a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to GENTEX Corporation, 324 Main Street, Simpson, PA 18407-1182 utilizing other than full and open competition procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106(b)(1). This action seeks to obtain specifically negotiated license rights (SNLR) for the GENTEX X-back retention system, reference drawing number A13209, and drawing A12775, for the Lightweight Helmet (LWH) X-back retention system variant, in addition to the referenced drawings themselves. Due to the specific nature of this action, procurement of proprietary drawings and data rights to those drawings available only from the aforementioned source, no other sources are capable of submitting the requested items. Therefore, no responses to this notice from other interested parties will be considered. This notice of intent represents the only official notice of this contracting action and is not a request for quotes.
