- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested via this synopsis and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF13121345 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-54. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS Code 423430 with number of employees not exceeding 100. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Vicksburg, MS, USACE Information Technology (ACE-IT) has a requirement for: BACKGROUND: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has a requirement to purchase fifty (50) annual Actuate Software Maintenance Agreement renewals and seventy (70) Read Only Licenses (purchased in sets of thirty (30) and forty (40) licenses). Brand name justification is attached. SPECIFICATIONS: 1.50 VPE Software Maintenance Agreement renewals with a renewal period of 7 Jul 2011 through 19 Jan 2013. 2.30 VEE Read Only versions with a renewal period of 28 Dec 2011 through 19 Jan 2013. 3.40 BIRT Scorecard Read Only versions with a renewal period of 20 Jan 2012 through 19 Jan 2013. RESPONSES: Response to this SOW shall include the following information: 1.Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. 2.Statement addressing current registration status in CCR 3.Completed Representation and Certification as prescribed in FAR 52,212-3 Alt I 4.The cost breakdown should include the line items listed below. CLIN 0001 - Description: VPE Maintenance Renewal, Quantity: 50, Unit: Each, Unit Price: $____________, Total Price: $____________ CLIN 0002 - Description: VEE Read Only: Quantity: 30: Unit: Each, Unit Price: $____________, Total Price: $____________ CLIN 0003 - Description: BIRT Scorecard Read Only: Quantity: 40: Unit: Each, Unit Price: $____________, Total Price: $____________ Total of CLIN 0001-0003 $____________ FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; Award will be made using the lowest price technically acceptable method. Offerors must include a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
