- Description
- The US Forest Service intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Govolution L.L.C. Govolution is the sole source provider of the technologies required by the Forest Service for the integrated Pay.gov e-commerce shopping cart. The Forest Service requirements include an e-commerce shopping cart, transaction settlement processes and specialized data interfaces with integrated connectivity to the U.S. Treasury's proprietary Pay.gov payment processing platform. Govolution's Velocity Payment System with v+Cart provides the proprietary interfaces required for the Pay.gov platform. Further, since the integrated Pay.gov v+Cart technology is proprietary, custom development requires Govolution technical services to make the Forest Service required customizations to the core functionality to meet stated requirements by the Forest Service. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representative for consideration for future requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, Forest Service Contracting, 3833 S. Development Ave, Boise ID, 83705, via fax to (208) 387-5384 or via e-mail to jbrandt@fs.fed.us. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Forest Service will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Govolution L.L.C.
