- This is a "Pre-Solicitation" Notice and NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation. The purpose of this Notice is to allow prospective offerors to make an informed judgment as to whether a copy of the Solicitation should be requested. The Formal RFP Solicitation will be officially issued and posted to this website after the closing date of this Notice. The U.S. Coast Guard, Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Long Range Surveillance (LRS) Division, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 intends to solicit proposals for depot level Repair of Government owned Power Supply 200AMP P/N 976J198-1/; Power Supply, Remote P/N: 915-38106-001; Power Supply P/N: 200-1000-01 or 02017005-3. Repair work shall be in accordance with applicable OEM Component Maintenance manuals(s) (CMM) or U.S. Air Force Technical Orders (AFTO) latest revision that will be identified in the Solicitation. A Certificate of Conformance for each repair component shall be required. The Government anticipates award of a Requirements Type Contract using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 15. It is anticipated the contract will consist of one (1) 12- Month Base Period and four (4) 12- Month Option Periods. The RFP Solicitation will provide the Statement of Work with a description of performance requirements and estimated quantities. This acquisition will be a Total Small Business Set-aside to be awarded on a competitive basis. The NAICS is 336413 and the applicable size standard is 1000 employees. The Government intends to award a single contract but reserves the right to select and award contracts to multiple vendors if two or more technically qualified proposals are determined to provide approximately equal value to the Government and determined to be in the best interest of the Government. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Offers from large businesses will not be considered for award under the Total Small Business Set-aside. The RFP Solicitation Number will be HSCG38-12-R-300002, which is the same number as this Notice. Vendors should register on this FedbizOpps website under this number to receive notices pertaining to the solicitation. The RFP Solicitation will be posted to this website and will be available for download/print. All requests for the Solicitation shall be in writing. Vendors may also submit a written Request for Solicitation HSCG38-12-R-300002 to Bekki.E.Koci@uscg.mil. Phone Request for the Solicitation will not be accepted.
