- Description
- This is a standard designed construction Project which will be solicited as an 8(a) competitive acquisition. Only eligible 8(a) Firms as determined by the Small Business Administration shall be considered for award. The magnitude of this construction project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 dollars. This project will require the contractor to construct Company Operations Facilities (COFs) to station a Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System (JLENS) Battery and THAAD Battery at Fort Bliss, TX. This shall include but is not limited to providing three (3) individual standard designed 14,683 SF COFs with covered hardstands, information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Mass Notification systems, Intrusion Detection (IDS) installation and Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (EMCS) connection as well as supporting facilities and systems. Supporting facilities include site development, infrastructure, utilities and connections, lighting paving, walks & storm drainage. The Solicitation will be posted on or about 16 December 2011.
