Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs' Readjustment Counseling Service is seeking to lease 3600 net usable square feet for the Atlanta Vet Center. Considered space will be on the ground floor. It must have convenient access from main thoroughfare with public transit available. It will have adequate parking for 30 vehicles, including 4 dedicated handicapped parking spaces for Vet Center use. At least 2 handicapped spaces must be van accessible. Access is required from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The site must be handicapped accessible in accordance with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A). Expected occupancy is required by September 2012. Location: Space must be located within the following geographic boundaries of Atlanta, GA: North: Northeast Expressway; West: Fulton Industrial Boulevard; South: Hutcheson Ferry Road; East: Moreland Avenue; Lease Term: The lease term shall be 10 years, 5 years firm. A market survey of properties for lease will be conducted by VA. Brokers or legal representatives submitting property must show written acknowledgement and permission to represent the property. Property owners and developers must provide written proof of ownership or non-contingent control of property at the time of submission of initial bids. The following information shall be provided along with the expression of interest: (1) Site plan depicting the building, (2) a block or floor plan of the proposed space for offer, (3) identification on site plan demonstrating location of parking to be dedicated for VA's use. Interested offerors should submit specific information concerning their properties to Tommy L. The Government will pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for the building. This advertisement is not a request for proposals. A solicitation for offers may be issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs at a later date.
