- UPDATE TO THE DESCRIPTION: 1. This is an enclosed X-ray Producing Tube that is "not" in a special housing. It is only a glass vacuum tube with a Beryllium window on the front of it. The X-ray Tube does not contain a horn, therefore, no horn angle. Also, there is no rotor or insert. This type of tube is "not" the type of X-ray device that is found in a Dentist Office or hospital X-ray Lab. 2. This is a "medical grade" X-ray producing tube. The term "medical grade" refers to the quality of X-rays that are being produced; not how this tube is being used. The other term used to describe a tube of lesser beam quality is "industrial grade." An "industrial grade" is NOT wanted in this type of item. The intent to use this X-ray tube is to cause damage inside of a semi-conductor (computer chip) lattice structure.
