- NOTICE OF CONTRACT AWARD. This is a notice of intent from ESC/HSGK, Hanscom AFB, MA to award a firm fixed, sole source purchase to Schutte-Buffalo Hammermill LLC, Buffalo, NY as the only known vendor/manufacturer for an exclusive secure data destruction/metal reclamation device. This Foreign Military Sale involves the purchase of Schutte-Buffalo Hammermill E-Cycler model WA-20-H for the Royal Saudi Air Force and its Secure Communications Information Program effort. Requirements for the six (6) electronic data destruction devices are as follows: 1) destroys hard drives (one per second) and optical media, both classified and unclassified in nature; 2) electronic waste recycling capabilities with a high speed hammermill action that separates materials that comprise a component to easily extract the individual plastic, glass, copper, aluminum and stainless steel material and; 3) scour and obliterate the device. Delivery is 120 days after receipt of order. The purcha! se will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.500 (a); soliciting from a single source. The anticipation award date is 30 Nov 2011. This is not a request for quotations. Interested parties may submit capability statements and qualifications for this requirement to Michael.Duffy@hanscom.af.mil. All information received will be considered solely for informational purposes. This announcement constitutes a notice of intent for a contract action, not a solicitation The Government's determination not to compete this proposed contract action is based on market research previously conducted.
