- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a Fixed-Price contract. This contract shall be for the acquisition of aircraft, aircraft modification, and air operations support, such as pilots and operations & maintenance (O&M). The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is RFP-RS-2011 will be issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 15-Contracting by Negotiation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336411 Aircraft Manufacturing and 488190 Other Support Activities for Air Transportation, the Small Business size standard is 1,500 employees for 336411 and $7M for 488190. This RFP is being conducted as a Full and Open procurement. The RFP will seek a contractor to provide for sale to the FBI two (2) specially configured aircraft as well as CLS services to be provided when both aircraft have been accepted. The RFP is to be issued approximately 12/5/2011. This RFP will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
