- The USDA Agricultural Research Service in Parlier Ca has a requirement for a FLIR A615 640x480 1.2LB Infrared camera system which connects to a GPS receiver in-sync with the thermal images. The USDA intends on mounting this camera on a UAV and MoviTherm-Advanced Thermography Solutions Irvine, CA is the only known source who has the capability to configure the camera to meet our research parameters along with setup and training. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within Five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. An RFQ is not available for this procurement action interested firms can submit proposal to the attention of FRED GIFFORD as listed in this notice.
