- DUNPHY AERIAL SEEDING - BLM NV (ELKO DISTRICT) The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office, has a requirement for aerial seeding of approximately 34,735 acres over 2 project areas in Elko and Eureka Counties, NV (BLM Elko District). The BLM anticipates award of Multiple Firm Fixed Price contracts resulting from this solicitation. A competitive solicitation, L12PS00045, set-aside for small business, will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5- Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 115112 Soil Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating and the small business size standard is $7.0M. A Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation package will be available electronically on or about Thursday December 8, 2011 at www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database via website: http://www.ccr.gov, and have completed the online Representations and Certification at website: https://orca.bpn.gov. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. There will be no public opening. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a copy of the complete solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
